  1. Verify PC Retriever program is closed.
  2. Click on link below to download the patch file and choose Save.
  3. Choose Save In: Desktop as the destination so the file can be easily found.
  4. Click Save.
  5. When download is complete, close this window and dialog box (if necessary).
  6. Double-click bmw_cert_update icon on desktop to install the patch to your computer. Click Run to bypass Security Warning.
  7. Follow on-screen instructions (click Next, then Finish).
  8. Follow on-screen instructions.
