- Brake warning light is on after brake job, what do I do?
On older non I-Drive vehicles, leave the ignition key on (engine off) for
90 seconds.
- Using the PC Retriever, I received a message of "EWS unsuccessful please contact ProgRama".
The engineering team of PCR has taken the stand to not program or modify a
control module if the module is unknown, e.i. newer part number than what
is in our database. Please contact the PCR support team so we can remedy
your problem.
- I replaced DSC how do I code it, the light in the dash is on?
If you don’t have the J2534 package, please contact your PCR Distributor/Rep
to purchase the package.
Mercedes-Benz:
- Does the PC Retriever code AUX battery control module?
No, we are able to access the module for diagnostics only.
- I got a new EIS how do I code it? (Green or orange key)
Please install new EIS module and leave the Orange key in until the red LED
goes out. Note: the Orange key is not able to turn, so please don’t force
this key. Then one by one install all the original keys into the EIS module.
Wait anywhere from 90 seconds to 90 minutes for the ignition to release.
Then the car will start.
- I replaced the EIS and windows and A/C doesn’t work, what do I do?
The vehicle needs to be coded with the SDS factory tool.
